This book was quite a nice read. I learned quite a bit about our old airfields here and I would definitely recommend. For the price though, it would be nice if both volumes were included because the size of the text is quite large which is the only reason why I rate this 3 star. Shipping was excellent and the book arrived perfect which is sometimes rare for a paperback! Thanks!Product details

Interesting Book
This is Print-on-Demand (POD) book and as such, suffers from quality issues that detracts from the authors research. In my copy, many of the photo's were blurred, had a disconcerting red hue, and generally poor. The author would have done well to include GPS co-ordinate's even though many of these sites no longer exist. On the other hand, I'm glad that the author took the time to do this as the research on this segment of Arizona aviation history is long over due.
because of inadequate packing. You cannot put a book in a padded envelope and expect it to survive the postal service. The book arrived warped and bent...good thing I wasn't planning on giving it as a gift.
